I am excited about being a tutor because I love helping others learn, from photography to writing and more. My degrees at Virginia Tech as well as NYIP have contributed to my continuing education, and I am ready to share the knowledge I gained while attending school there. In high school, I attended the Governor's School for Science and Technology and graduated as valedictorian of my class. In addition, I graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech in only 2.5 years with a bachelors degree. Since graduating, I have worked full time, promoting from an Administrative Assistant to Director of Communications. Most recently, I began my own photography business and have learned the ins and outs both of photography and running a small business. Photography has opened my eyes to how much I love to teach others, whether in this field or something else entire, and I am excited about the possibilities of tutoring those who are ready to learn more.

In my spare time, I love cooking organic and local food. Because I love cooking so much, I am also a runner at heart! My cockapoo Lilo keeps me busy during the week, and on weekends when I'm not photographing a wedding I love spending time with my family and finding great local coffee - or better yet, traveling somewhere new!
