I went to Old Dominion University to earn my bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies. I continued on at Old Dominion for my masters degree in early childhood education. I'm now teaching second graders, and I love my job. I enjoy helping students in any elementary school subjects involving math, reading, or English. I focus on making sure that students have fun, because I believe engagement helps students work through learning challenges. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, trying new foods, cooking, movies, word games, puzzles, doing arts and crafts, and traveling.
