Graduated from Norfolk State University with a degree in Sociology. Currently, a freshmen Urban Affair Community Counseling major for my Master's.
Experience
I have been tutoring since 2010 at the Norview Center, Norfolk Public Library, as well as Booker T High School. Majority of the students that I have tutored are 1st graders through 8th grade. While I was the president of the Big Brother Big Sister program I started a mentoring/tutoring program at the Brambleton Center for the young men in the neighborhood. I also too the program off campus and expanded it to the seven cities. My tutors would drive to the students house and help with homework if they were not located in Norfolk. My tutors and myself treated the students as if they were our little brothers or sisters. I would send out permission slips if we took the students on field trips or even if we were holding an event on campus and I wanted to expose the students to college life. I have always been very interested in helping the youth and ensuring success in their future.
