Hello! I received my Bachelor of Arts from Berry College (2009-2013), with a degree English and concentration in Creative Writing. During my time there, I was on the dean's list all four years, and graduated cum laude. I also won several awards from the school for best literature essay and best writing portfolio. After finishing my undergraduate, I crossed the Pond to attend Bath Spa University in England. I attained my Master of Arts (2013-2014) in Creative Writing for Young People. I graduated valedictorian, and was given an honorary mention for Most Promising Writing for Young People from United Agents.
Experience
Tutoring: I tutored students in the ACT writing and reading sections with positive results. I scored 32 myself in these sections. Additionally, I have volunteered for some time as a critique partner and beta reader for teen writers, providing feedback for fiction and essay assignments. I have taken numerous classes in writing, as well as additional college-level courses in history, communications, and international affairs. For my four years as an undergraduate, I worked in Public Relations and Philanthropic Communications at Berry College. I provided professional writing for the school's website and alumni magazine. As a result, I'm very familiar with college admissions and administration. I also worked for ten months as co-editor for a creative writing anthology produced by Bath Spa University, which recently launched in London and received very positive feedback from the publishing world over there. One of my favorite things is helping young writers find their voices. I believe everyone has a creative spark and a story to tell!

I love to write (obviously), but I also love travel (11 countries and counting--from Iceland to Afghanistan), reading, walking, photography, dogs, and going to the movies. I'm a Hufflepuff with Ravenclaw tendencies, and all around fan of general geekery (Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, Firefly, Jane Austen, Gravity Falls... you name it, I love it).
