I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Old Dominion University with a 3.5 GPA . I plan on pursuing my Masters degree at O.D.U. as well and going into education. I believe knowledge is power and consider myself a Lifetime Learner.
Experience
I enjoy tutoring children and adults and have done so for ages 4-32 with a strong concentration in middle school ages. Courses I've taken that give me an edge include note-taking, study habits 101, and Developmental psychology. I understand that not everyone learns the same way and I have in-depth knowledge of learning styles such as oral and auditory. I have several plans that I can use for each learning style and/or combinations since changing styles is sometimes helpful in keeping things interesting and helps students not just pass tests and exams but also to retain the knowledge.
